Struggling with carbon buildup on pans, baking trays, grill irons and other commercial kitchen items?
This buildup is a barrier to heat, and will negatively affect the cooking process. The quality of cooked food will degrade when you continue to use your carbon encrusted cooking smallwares.
Spectank offers a solution to eliminate carbon buildup as well as fats, oils and grease from your kitchen.
The SPECTANK removes buildup from metal cookware and kitchen and bakery equipment. It is fully insulated, constructed from stainless steel, and cleans all types of metal, including aluminum.
The Spectank is simply filled with water and Carbsolve chemicals, the tank is then loaded with dirty items and left to soak. Remove and rinse the items, and viola, Spectankular cleaning results!
SPECTANK Eliminates the daily grind of standing at the sink and scrubbing for hours on end… Reduce the energy, water and chemicals associated with cleaning pots, pans, vent hood filters and other kitchen equipment.
The alternative to the Spectank?
There was a time when our roads were filled with horse and carriages, and one could hardly walk through New York City streets without stepping in horse poop. An environmental disaster was looming…how was the city going to remove the tons of horse droppings every day? Just when it was becoming an insoluble nightmare, along came the automobile! Problem solved…
But people at first cried out in fear… men and woman alike exclaimed, “I will not be found in one of those smoke belching contraptions of death…”
Can you imagine what the world would be like now, had we refused to embrace the automobile, and were still riding horse and carriages?
Imagine restaurant cleaning in 50 years without the Spectank? Unthinkable! Not even a robot can replace the Spectankular effects of soaking cooking equipment in 185° F water and Carbsolve.
The current alternative to the Spectank heated soak tank is typically a three-compartment sink for cleaning dirty pots and pans and other items. Removing caked on grease and carbon this way is labor intensive, aggravating to employees, and environmentally harmful. The chemicals used also are often harmful. Large quantities of water, sanitizer, and detergent are used and water needs to be replaced three to eight times a day. Another alternative would be to use cold water and a harsh chemical for cleaning, yet this is hazardous to the staff, the items being cleaned, and especially the environment. The chemicals can eat holes in your hands, and gloves need to be used at all times…
However, when using a heated soak tank, water can be used for days at a time and the solution in the tank lasts for a full month.
SPECTANK heated soak tanks are easily movable around the kitchen, sitting on castor wheels, and only need a standard electrical plug.
The cleaning process removes burnt carbon, fats, oils, and grease, which then either float on the surface or drop down as a sludge. At the end of each month, the tank is drained using the floor drain, and the debris is removed and trashed. The beauty of it, is that this is what SPECTANK technicians do when you are in a SPECTANK serviced area! All you need to do is use it… and enjoy the Spectankular results. (If you are outside a Spectank serviced area, there is a DIY option for self service at a reduced cost.. still worth it!)
SPECTANK heated soak tanks were actually originally designed for the cleaning of hood filters. The baffles within the filters trap the fats oils and greases, and this can cause a huge fire risk. It is vital to remove this grease and oil from the hood filters. Filters cleaned using the SPECTANK help to keep kitchens cooler, and efficient filters also reduce strain on HVAC motors.
Tests conducted have found that the total heated soak tanks costs are less than $10 per day as compared to about $80 for a three-compartment sink and $350 for a dish machine. Therefore considerable increase of profits can be expected when using a SPECTANK.
SPECTANKS have the UL logo which is a recognised standard in safety. UL Classification means that UL has tested and evaluated samples of the product with respect to certain properties of the product. UL classifies products to: Applicable UL requirements, Standards for safety, Standards of other national and international organizations
It is time to change… it simply makes no common nor economic sense to continue scrubbing.
